Having a great looking, easy to navigate website/application is my goal when I build one. I'm sure you have visited websites that have frustrated you because you can't find what you need. I structure the layout in a simplistic, clean, an intuitive way to make your end-users feel at ease.

S.E.O. & Accessability

S.E.O. (Search Engine Optimization) is a very important part in the web development process. Ask yourself this question... why do you want/need a website for yourself or business? I'm sure your answer is probably for marketing purposes, to drive sales and gain market share. In order to do that a website needs to be able to be "friendly" to search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. I can design your site so that this will happen. I also consult with you to find alernative ways in order to drive your search engine rankings up!

Accessibility is also an important issue that should be addressed in a website. I prefer to code using semantically corrent XHTML. Doing so will help those with disabilities (i.e. blind users who use screen readers) navigate and intepret your website more easily.

Building Relationships

Having a strong relationship with my client is extremely important to me. I am great with communication and am extremely flexible. A consultation is held before a website is begun so that we both are on the same page as far as expectations are concerned. Be wary of web designers who do not want to meet in person when starting a project (especially the designer has marketed him/herself on websites like Craigslist.
